course description:

The PADI Emergency First Responder Instructor Course is a hands on approach to CPR, Basic First Aid and how to recognize and deal with incidents, the course may include care for children module. The program prepares Instructors to organize, market, promote and teach the PADI Emergency First Responder course for Scuba divers as well as non divers. We run the program over a period of  2 days during our PADI Instructor training. Mandatory training module.

* CPR courses for adults, children and infants
* First aid for adults, children and infants
* Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training
* Emergency Oxygen Provider course
* The Emergency First Response Instructor and Instructor Trainer courses

Course objectives

Gain experience in how to structure learning, the requirements of performance-based training and your role as the instructor in the learning environment for teaching CPR and first aid. You will review the procedures for handling any medical emergency situations both for adults and children.

Pre-requisites:

You must

  • Be a certified dive master
  • Have CPR and First Aid training within the last 24 months.
  • Be at least 18 years old
