PADI (Junior) National Geographic OWD
course description:
Join an elite group of divers who are more than tourists, but explorers, adventurers and conservationists. The PADI National Geographic Open water Diver training is an extension of the standard PADI OWD training. This is the opportunity to participate in an environment awareness training as a PADI OWD (national geographic). You'll learn to observe and explore like an underwater scientist. Practicing marine information-gathering techniques and heightening dive navigation skills further increases your ability to explore and take critical note of each dive site you choose to visit. You'll be much more aware of navigation techniques by using compasses and also natural navigation points.
Your enhanced knowledge and skill level makes your and other National Geographic Divers true stewards and ambassadors for the underwater world. This course comes with a luxury leather logbook binder with national geographic almanac plus DVD.
As a National Geographic Diver, your certification signifies you have all the abilities of a PADI Open Water Diver plus additional knowledge that broadens your awareness of the aquatic realm and new skills to better explore underwater.
