The PADI Divemaster course is your first step towards a professional scuba career.
Your adventure starts here!
During our comprehensive program you will work closely with our team of experienced Instructors assisting with student divers and developing your leadership abilities, under the supervision of our PADI Course Director and IDC Staff Instructors.
Our course covers all aspects of being a dive pro from understanding the physiology and physics of diving, to using a SMB and mapping a dive site. You will gain valuable experience and dive skills, improve your confidence expand your dive theory.
Many Divemaster candidates don't realize that their instructor level training begins with the PADI Divemaster course.
So basically this program gives your the foundation that will benefit you in your upcoming Instructor training.
Our Divemaster Program is very flexible, allowing you to start your training when convenient and extend your training through our exclusive internship program. We offer 3 options:
1) Standard Divemaster Program is designed to be completed over 4 weeks and will cover all the PADI curriculum components plus your chance to build on that during an internship period.
2) If you have the luxury of time, you can extend this internship by a further 2 weeks to make a 6-week Divemaster Program at no extra charge. For these extra 2 weeks we only ask you to arrange yoru own transport to one of our 5 star centers and your own gear. That's it!
3) If you are on a limited time schedule you may sign up for our “Fast Track” Divemaster Program over just 2 weeks.
During your internship you will see how it feels to work as a PADI Divemaster in a busy dive resort, giving you indispensable experience that will help you in your scuba career to come. You will “shadow” our experienced staff and your days will be varied just like our own Divemasters and Instructors.
Your Divemaster duties can include pool demo's, sales, planning and conducting dive excursions. You will meet our guests – novice and seasoned divers, help our staff guide certified divers, and assist our Instructors with training courses.
Qu’apprendrez-vous:
Pendant l'entraînement de divemaster vous apprendrez à endosser le rôle d'un leader. Vous participerez à des présentations de classe et étudierez individuellement. Vous serez tester sur vos capacités d'endurance. Vous allez résoudre des questions d'entraînement et démontrerez vos capacités à planifier des plongées, prévenir des problèmes et aider les autres à augmenter leur savoir- faire.
Conditions:
- Un brevet PADI Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver ou un brevet équivalent d'une autre fédération de plongée.
- Un cours de sauvetage achevé dans les deux années précédentes.
- Un brevet PADI Rescue Diver ou un brevet équivalent d'une autre fédération de plongée.
- Pour le début du cours un minimum de 40 plongées enregistrées, pour le brevet un minimum de 60 plongées.
- Un certificat médical qui approuve que vous êtes physiquement apte à plonger.
- Âge minimum 18 ans.
