Mexico is one of the TOP 10 Dive destination in the world. Playa del Carmen is the place to be, with restaurants, beach bars and a sparkling night life.

Riviera Maya & Cozumel have over 60,000 hotel rooms, so there is something for every taste and budget. We can suggest anything from a $10/night dorm room, to a $400/night hotel suite with ocean view.
We are based in several hotels in and around Playa del Carmen and can provide full accommodations in these hotels at very competitive rates. We can also hook you up with local real-estate agencies for long term apartments and accommodation providers for our GoPro candidates.

Where is the PADI IDC held?

We have two PADI IDC facilities in and around Playa del Carmen.  We use these different locations depending on the actual training objectives, with the result of obtaining the very best practical experience possible for our candidates

A) Most of our IDC training will take place out of our IDC facility at the Royal Hideaway Playacar Hotel in Playa del Carmen.  Here you are only a short walk  from Playa's famous 5th Avenue and the Cozumel ferry pier.  We have our own dedicated IDC classroom, boat, as well as access to the deep and shallow swimming pools for confined water skills practice.

B) We also boast our second IDC facility a short drive north of Playa, at world renowned Maroma Beach, where we occasionally conduct additional sessions, to best match learning objectives. (Only PADI certicied deep pool in the area)

C) Besides training at our PADI IDC center locations, there also will be days where you will visit one of the many mystic cenotes here, or Cozumel National Marine Park  in order to practice some open water exercises – and of course fun dive!

Where will I live?

As mentioned above, the most convenient location to stay is at the center of Playa del Carmen, close to our IDC facility. Everyone has their own preferences, tastes and budgets when it comes to accommodation, and for this reason we don't provide accommodation during your training with us.

We have researched the area and found a number of places which are all close to our IDC facility in Playa, and offer good facilities and reasonable rates. We're happy to provide you with more information if you contact us. Note that prices will generally be cheaper if you book per month. During the weeks surrounding Easter, Christmas and New Year most places will charge their peak rate.
