Careers and job opportunities at Pro Dive Mexico
Why Pro Dive.....
Pro Dive Mexico enjoys a reputation as the premier provider of scuba diving services & professional PADI training in the Caribbean and has built a reputation of safety and excellence.
We operate multiple dive centers at several 5-Star Resorts in and around Playa del Carmen, and on the island of Cozumel.
With so many resort-based dive centres, we are always looking for multilingual and professional staff to join our team, and where possible we like to choose from those who have been trained in-house. Add to that the vast numbers of other dive operations in the Riviera Maya, and this is why we TRULY have job opportunities for our IDC candidates.
Our level of quality and growth demands that we provide scuba professionals for our own organization as well as other dive shops in the Caribbean who have been trained to the highest PADI standards.
We take our instructor candidates’ passion and turn it into a great career.
The Pro Dive Mexico IDC Courses have become the standard for instructor training in Mexico and the Caribbean.
What we don’t do here at Pro Dive Mexico, is promise you a job so that you sign up for your training with us. What we can do is ensure that you get the best quality training with all the tips and advice that will help you shine as an instructor, the rest is down to you!
Our Instructor-internships
With every MSDT Prep Program you can take advantage of our FREE 3-week instructor internship where you will be working alongside our experienced staff to get a feel for how it is to work and teach in the real world of scuba diving. You will have the opportunity to team-teach your first courses to gain experience.
When competition for jobs is tough, taking part in an internship has fast become a popular option for new instructors seeking employment, and its easy to see why. The beauty of internships is that, should you impress, employers will usually offer you a paid full-time position, or at least consider you for future vacancies. Internships are also a great way to test the waters and decide if the job is right for you. Everyone wins!
Even if it is not your intention to stick around and work in the Riviera Maya after your IDC, participation in just a few weeks’ internship will still be an impressive adition to your CV.
But only a handful of IDC facilities will offer you such an opportunity to team-teach alongside experienced staff and gain insight into how a busy dive operation works.
